Chief's Corner

As Chief of the Bedington Volunteer Fire Department, I would like to welcome you to our website and say “thank you” for taking the time out of your busy schedule to visit us on the web.

The members of the Bedington Volunteer Fire Department are proud of the quality of service we provide to the residents, visitors and those persons passing through our fire district. Our members are professional in both their attitude and level of competence. The Bedington Volunteer Fire Department was established and has been providing firefighting service since 1963. Our personnel constantly train to improve their skills so they may provide the best fire and medical services possible.

We strive to successfully address the many tasks our citizens rely upon us to provide, and that success can be attributed to our personnel. As our members work under stressful conditions, and still maintain their personal lives with family, friends and work; they continue to provide the best lifesaving services available due to their continuous training and dedication, which is comparable to any department in our area.

Our department’s excellent service would not be possible without the full support and cooperation of the people within our district. This support enables the Bedington Volunteer Fire Department to continue providing the emergency services that ensure the safety and well-being of you, the people we serve.

I hope this web site will provide you with all the information you need about our department.
